Scope

These terms govern your use of Raccoon, provided by M2 Holding GmbH, Lommelstraße 8, 81479 München, Germany. Raccoon is designed for businesses and self-employed professionals. If you use it as a consumer (§ 13 BGB), your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Using Raccoon

Raccoon manages business records, including contacts, products and invoices. It runs in your browser and requires internet access. Use it lawfully, keep your login details secure, and do not access other customers’ data or interfere with the service.

The AI assistant proposes changes to business records for your approval. Check its suggestions: they can be wrong. Raccoon does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. You remain responsible for your records and filings.

Plans and cancellation

Raccoon offers a free plan and monthly paid plans. Features and limits are on the pricing page; your subscription price and payment terms are shown before you order. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel in the application or by emailing hello@rccn.io, effective at the end of the current billing month, without a cancellation fee. Your right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

Cancelling a paid plan returns your account to the free plan; it does not delete your records. Plan limits may prevent further use of a feature until you upgrade or reduce your usage.

Consumer withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason. Notify M2 Holding GmbH at the address above or hello@rccn.iowith a clear statement. Sending it before the deadline is sufficient. You may use the form below, but do not have to.

We refund payments without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise, with no refund fee. If you expressly requested that a paid service start during the withdrawal period and received the required information, you pay only the proportion of the agreed price for services provided up to your withdrawal.

Your data

Your business data remains yours. You can read records as JSON through the API while your account is available. Export what you need before requesting deletion; deletion ends access to those records. You are responsible for meeting your own record-retention duties.

Where we process personal data on your behalf, an agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is required. Contacthello@rccn.io to arrange it before entering that data. Our privacy noticedescribes how we handle personal data.

Availability and liability

Maintenance and outages may interrupt the service. We do not guarantee a specific uptime. Statutory rights concerning defects in digital services remain unaffected.

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law. For simple negligence, we are liable for breaches of essential contractual duties that enable the service and on which you may rely, limited to foreseeable damage typical of this contract. Otherwise, liability for simple negligence is excluded.

Changes and governing law

We will propose changes to these terms or your price at least one month in advance. Changes to your existing contract require your agreement; continued use alone is not consent.

German law applies. Consumers retain the mandatory protections of the law of their country of habitual residence. Munich is the exclusive venue for merchants and legal entities or special funds under public law; otherwise, statutory jurisdiction applies.
